Maghull Civic Awards

Congratulations to all of our winners and nominees of the MTC Civic Awards. A great night was had by all as the Cosy Club volunteers won the overall Civic Award for all of their hard work supporting Monday afternoon’s Cosy Club

The Good Neighbour Award went to Lynne Warham for her work supporting people through the cost of living crisis and the welcoming Maghulltimate Facebook page.

The Local Business Award was won by Select Training CIC who through their mini medics training help provide first aid for mental health in local schools and have helped organise local well being days.

Friends of Maghull and District (pictured) once again won the Environment Award for the array of work they have done and continue to do across Maghull’s parks and open spaces in a voluntary capacity.

It was emotional as the winners of the newly inaugurated Matthew Lock Youth Award were announced as being 12th Maghull Scouts. MTC has worked with Matthew’s parents to ensure Matthew’s memory and dedication to supporting young people remain in the town’s thoughts.

Well done to all of the nominees who as MTC Mayor Cllr Ken Hughes said are all winners in the eyes of the Council and our community.
