Precept

The total Precept for the 2023/24 financial year is £840,252. The Precept is usually expressed as the Band D Equivalent and currently stands at £1.80 per household. However some will pay more and others less dependent on their property band. The precept can also be expressed as 78.5p per week per resident.

Budget

The budget is set every January for the forthcoming financial year. The current year’s budget is shown in the precept and budget tab together with previous years. If you have any queries regarding the budget please contact accounts@maghull-tc.gov.uk.
